Hi, I’m Allison Stanley, a small-town girl who moved to Knoxville to attend UT. After graduation, I never returned “home” and Knoxville became my home. I have 4 kiddos, one who now attends UT and the other 3 in Knox Co. Schools, so I am very familiar with Knoxville and all it has to offer from lots of life experience! As a Realtor with Slyman Real Estate, my clients know me for my consistent communication and passionately caring about their real estate needs. I like to call myself the “relational realtor” because I really do enjoy connecting with clients beyond their real estate transaction and staying in touch long after the deal is done.
Beth Miser has been an agent for Slyman Real Estate and the Laura Slyman Team since 2005. The University of Tennessee graduate serves as an exclusive Buyer’s Agent specializing in the home buying experience and working with first-time as well as experienced buyers.

I grew up in Sylva, NC, near the Blue Ridge Parkway. My wife Ina, and I have lived in Knoxville for many years. Our knowledge and experience selling Real Estate for over 20 years, in all areas of our City, County, and throughout Tennessee, will be an invaluable asset to you. My education and employment background, prior to years in real estate, has been in Accounting, Professional Management, and Accounting and Investment Services for Physicians. I was the sole owner of a successful billing/accounting service, for a host of offices in the medical field, for over 10 years. Ina and I now partner together in home listings and sales, as well as Property Management. We love our work and love working together. We feel our personal happiness makes us better in the service of helping others. We enjoy what we do and enjoy meeting new people. We consider it a privilege to provide outstanding service to you in one of the major purchases in your life. Through the years we have made many lasting friends with whom we frequently enjoy personal times together. We have four children and four grandchildren! Three of the four also sell Real Estate. Ina and I fly-fish, daily digest the Wall Street Journal, entertain in our home, hike, travel, do farm work, and enjoy reading. I look forward to hearing from you, hearing your story and helping you realize your dreams.
Personally speaking, I grew up on a large farm north of Knoxville. My education and employment, aside from raising three children, has been in Counseling, which readied me for my career as a REALTOR.
I graduated from Carson-Newman University with a BS degree in Psychology, and the University of Tennessee with MS degree in Psychology/Counseling. I worked for the TN Dept. of Corrections as a Juvenile Probation Officer; Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation as a Vocational Counselor; and Knox County Schools as a High School Counselor/Teacher. In the early dawn of most days, I study Theology, which over the years has resulted in two books, published by Triumphant Publications. They are: Finding Hope, a paperback inspirational work for women, and Finding Treasures for The Soul, a hardback, gift-book of daily devotionals. All my former experiences have been a blessed “fit” to the Real Estate business. And it is a God-given privilege to assist persons of all ages, with varying needs interests, abilities and opinions! [And just in case you are wondering, I AM NOT WRITING A BOOK ABOUT MY CLIENTS & CUSTOMERS!]
Harrison and I enjoy Real Estate, the Wall Street Journal, public speaking, having folks over for dinner, fly-fishing, farm work, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time with our children and grandchildren! And we enjoy anything and everything that allows us to be together. Give either of us a call, we will be delighted to rearrange our schedules and make time to help you!
Ira has lived in Knoxville all of his life less one year. He was raised in the Fountain City/Inskip area; and at the age of sixteen, he began working in grocery stores. He worked in various stores while attending Tennessee Institute of Electronics (now Fountainhead College of Technology). After graduating, he went to work in the onsite side of electronic repair. He eventually worked on photo processing equipment which led him to open a photography company. Ira owned and operated this company for 26 years. These years of working with the public laid the groundwork for his real estate career which he began in 2003.
After marrying his wife of 37 years, they bought their first home in the Cedar Bluff area in 1983. They resided there until 2009 when they built their current residence in Andersonville, TN. Ira has utilized all of the lakes in the local area but is most familiar with Norris Lake as he and his wife currently live on its shoreline. Fifty-seven years in the Knoxville area has made Ira very familiar with the pulse of Knoxville. In his first year in real estate he closed 20 plus transactions. Since that time, Ira has become a multimillion dollar producer. He is ethical in practice and for over seven years has served on the Knoxville Association of Realtors Grievance and Standards of Practice committee. He does not place an emphasis on the number of transactions closed or the total amount of closed volume. The important thing to Ira is the personal relationships he has created in the last fifteen years and the individuals he has helped make the largest purchases of their lives.
Ira takes pride in helping people transition out of bad situations, relocating people to our local area or selling their homes and moving out of the Knoxville and surrounding areas. In this day of rapidly advancing technology, Ira believes it is important to remember THIS IS STILL A FACE TO FACE business. He feels blessed to be in a profession of service to people and will never forget that real estate transactions can sometimes be hard to navigate. Ira’s experience in this field over the last fifteen years has taught him how to tackle obstacles homebuyers may face. He can help buyers and sellers with the problems that may arise in any transaction. Ira states, “My goal is to represent my clients to the best of my ability within the scope of my expertise. This will help them get the best deal, in the shortest amount of time, with the least amount of inconvenience.”
We all know home is where the heart is… but the complicated process of buying or selling can lead to heartache! As your Realtor®, my biggest priority is being your trustworthy and caring guide. For me, real estate is all about building relationships, one house at a time.
My career background is in sales and customer service, and I worked in South Carolina, Arizona, and North Carolina before marrying my husband Mark and making Tennessee my home. Mark has been an appraiser in Knoxville since 1989, and I’ve been his administrative assistant since 2007.
In 2015 I caught the bug and became a licensed Realtor®. Since entering the industry, I’ve been a Multi-Million Dollar Producer, earned my Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation, and have been a member of the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors (KAAR).
Mark and I have a daughter and son: 25-year-old Isabel, who lives with her husband in Lenoir City, and 15-year-old Luke, who is a Freshman at Christian Academy of Knoxville. Our “second son” is a 103-lb. golden retriever named Dug, and we live in Farragut, a suburb of Knoxville.
With me, what you see is what you’ll get. I’ll give you honest advice, enable you to think outside the box, and will be patient and never pushy. I’ll help you with decision-making and advocating, and make sure everything is moving forward. Your peace of mind is my priority. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a seasoned seller, I’d love to be your Knoxville Realtor®. Call, text, or email and join my family of happy clients today!

I grew up moving all over the state of Virginia, New Jersey, Tennessee and North Carolina. This experience has given me a unique perspective in the real estate world. I have a heart for helping people find not only a place to live, but also a community in which they call home. I graduated from Appalachian State University and lived in Greensboro, NC for a short time before moving back to the East Tennessee area. I stayed home with my three children for 12 years before jumping back into the work force as an assistant to another agent at Realty Executives. I learned so much in this busy partnership and my next step was to obtain my real estate affiliate broker license and begin working as a buyer’s agent. This was a great fit for me as I love to watch people look at homes and find the right fit for them and their families. I joined Slyman Real Estate in November of 2016 and begin working with both buyers and sellers at this point. It has been an amazing run as I have been a multi-million- dollar producer for the past few years. The gratitude I feel for the opportunity to not only have a successful career, doing what I love, as well as spend time volunteering at my childrens’ schools, church and in the community, is indescribable.
Give me a call and let’s chat about how I can assist you in any real estate matter! Let me put my skills to work for you. I love working with relocations as well as local moves!

“I wasn’t born in the South, but I got here as quick as I could” (Author Unknown) is a true statement for me! Raised a small-town Idaho farm girl, but having frequent moves crisscrossing the United States, I fell soundly in love with East Tennessee when I landed here over 30 years ago.
I completely understand what a family is experiencing during all phases of this tremendous life change — whether searching for their next home, or preparing to say goodbye to the current home, family, and friends.
I cherish the trust my clients place in me, and am driven by a passion to exceed all expectations — with integrity, honesty, loyalty, and humor. I am unbelievably blessed to live and play in this beautiful area, on the lakes and in the mountains, and to make my living helping others do the same.
The vast majority of my business relationships are the result of personal recommendations from clients, friends and neighbors. Whether buying or selling (or considering it), new construction or existing, homeowner or investor, I want to be YOUR Realtor — the “go-to-girl”, for you, for your family, and for your friends.
