Personally speaking, I grew up on a large farm north of Knoxville. My education and employment, aside from raising three children, has been in Counseling, which readied me for my career as a REALTOR.
I graduated from Carson-Newman University with a BS degree in Psychology, and the University of Tennessee with MS degree in Psychology/Counseling. I worked for the TN Dept. of Corrections as a Juvenile Probation Officer; Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation as a Vocational Counselor; and Knox County Schools as a High School Counselor/Teacher. In the early dawn of most days, I study Theology, which over the years has resulted in two books, published by Triumphant Publications. They are: Finding Hope, a paperback inspirational work for women, and Finding Treasures for The Soul, a hardback, gift-book of daily devotionals. All my former experiences have been a blessed “fit” to the Real Estate business. And it is a God-given privilege to assist persons of all ages, with varying needs interests, abilities and opinions! [And just in case you are wondering, I AM NOT WRITING A BOOK ABOUT MY CLIENTS & CUSTOMERS!]
Harrison and I enjoy Real Estate, the Wall Street Journal, public speaking, having folks over for dinner, fly-fishing, farm work, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time with our children and grandchildren! And we enjoy anything and everything that allows us to be together. Give either of us a call, we will be delighted to rearrange our schedules and make time to help you!
