I am a Knoxville native.  I attended the University of TN where I received a BS and an MBA in Marketing.  I first obtained my real estate license in the 1980’s, but retired my license when my first daughter was born in 1987. I retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority in 2007 where I worked as a Human Resource Manager and decided to reactivate my real estate license in 2009. I began working with Slyman Real Estate in 2010 and remained there until I relocated to Nashville, TN in 2018.  I recently relocated back to Knoxville and am happy to be rejoining Slyman Real Estate. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Laura and the other agents and associates at Slyman again.  I have always admired Laura. She is very professional and, in my view, a good person with a lot of character who knows her “stuff.” I can learn a lot from her. I love this profession. Like most professions, you must have the book knowledge but you also must have the capability to develop positive relationships with others to be successful.  I always keep the best interest of my clients in mind because I know the experience of buying and selling a home can be stressful.  I strive to make the transition as smooth as possible. My goal is to instill trust and satisfaction in my clients so they will willingly refer me to others.
